An encounter with prehistoric life — arranged entirely on your terms. Sixty-five million years of extinction, undone in absolute privacy.
In 1987, a team of geneticists discovered that prehistoric DNA, preserved in Cretaceous amber deposits, was recoverable — and viable. Six years later, the first footsteps fell on Isla Extinctus.
The Amber Reserve is not a zoo. There are no cages. Our twenty-three resident species roam three hundred square kilometres of reconstructed Mesozoic habitat — grasslands, fern forests, wetlands, and open ocean. The boundaries are electric. The animals, however, are entirely real.

Twenty-three species currently occupy the Reserve. Here are four you will encounter on the standard expedition.

Tyrannosaurus rex
Apex Predator
The crown jewel of the Reserve. Eight tonnes of primordial fury roaming unrestrained across 2,000 acres of open savanna.

Triceratops horridus
Armored Herbivore
Gentle giants bearing three formidable horns. Observed in herds of up to forty, migrating through lowland fern forests.

Quetzalcoatlus northropi
Aerial Predator
A wingspan rivalling a small aircraft. These prehistoric flyers patrol the island's thermals from dawn to dusk.

Velociraptor antirrhopus
Intelligent Predator
Do not let the size deceive you. Operating in coordinated packs, they demonstrate problem-solving unprecedented in wildlife observation.
“The boundary between science and spectacle has never been thinner.”

Open-vehicle guided tours through 5,000 acres of reconstructed Cretaceous terrain. The view from two metres away is unforgettable.
A suspended walkway through the clouds, alongside creatures that ruled the Mesozoic skies for 80 million years.
Observe ancient ocean predators through reinforced panels, twenty metres below the surface of the inner lagoon.
After dark, the island reveals its most elusive residents. Thermal optics provided. Previous guests describe it as life-altering.
Forty guests per season. No exceptions. Reserve your place among the few who will witness what should not exist.
By proceeding you acknowledge that The Amber Reserve bears no liability for encounters beyond scheduled parameters.
